How Did It All Begin?
Our founder mom, Mary James, was an at-home mom living in California. In 1983, she began looking for ways to meet other at-home moms for fun child-centered opportunities and support. Once she realized there were no organizations that met during the day that allowed young children and babies to come along, she founded the International MOMS Club®.
There are over 2,100 chapters of the MOMS Club in the United States with over 100,000 members. New chapters are always forming, including internationally!
